Womens Sizes Plus

I have a few curves that don't neccessarily fit into the regular bikinis, but I am not a plus size. I wear a 11/12 but I have a booty, thighs, and a little tummy, I am looking for a sexy swimsuit that will reveal what I want it to and hide what I dont want people to see. I was reading on the internet that women's clothing sizes have gotten larger to help with womens' self images….. does anyone know if this is really true?? I still wear the same size 10 I have always worn. So now I'm wondering…….

Yes, it's called size inflation. You hear that Marilyn Monroe wore everything from a 12 to a 16…she did then! She would wear about a 6 now. They didn't have 0 and 2 as sizes. Most of the change has been from the 50's and 60's to now, although I have noticed it starting recently. I have clothes that fit me from sizes 4-11 in my closet. It all depends on the line and if you are in misses or junior sizes. One of the worst is the Isaac Mizrahi line at Target. I can't usually find a dress small enough for me, which is ridiculous since I usually wear a 6-8.

Ok so I have a cousin whos pretty big she said shes a size 22 but I think she might be 22-24 anyways I really want to suprize her & get her some clothes shes on her last year of highschool & shes been wearing the same clothes since she was in 8th grade because thats all that would fit her I want to get her some nice clothes for her last year but I dont have alot of money so I want it to be a bit more affordable like maybe some jeans for $20-35 dollers or skirts around $15-25 & a few nice tops & maybe a hoodie because shes been wanting one I was supposed to get her it for her birthday but I couldnt now that I have the money I really want to as a suprize the most Im willing to spend is maybe 80 but right now I just got $200 bucks for my birthday & dont wanna spend it all on just her I tried to go to places like torrid but there way to expensive there jeans are 40-50 bucks! I def cant afford that,Please help me out..by the way shes 17 & shes mainly into goth type clothes so if u can find some in her size then please let me know asap! give me as many stores as you can or sites where I can find clothes her size!!

I’m a 22-24 and can find somethings at Walmart, Target, Ross Dress for Less. Fashion Bug has good sales as well.

Sometimes the Plus Size sections are hidden. So look for anything that says Woman when you are in normal stores shopping. You will blink and miss them, but they are there. Walmart usually has a nice sale on jeans.

Lane Bryant sometimes has wonderful sales as well. They are online and local to some folks.
