okay, there’s sooo many ‘do guys like/do girls like’ qs out there, so i figured why not stick everything into one mass poll that everyone can look at?
plus, the ppl asking are always like ‘ooh, i’m a blond do guys like brunettes better?’ so then answerers usually say what the asker wants just to be nice!

So I'm planning to go to Japan in about two years or so. I'm currently 14 years of age, and I am a size five in jeans in juniors size. I wear size medium in shirts, and my shoe size is 8-9 in womens depending on the brand. I weight 135 pounds and I am 5 ft 6 inches tall. I'm trying to lose 20 pounds so that I am 115, cause I kind of have big thighs and a large….butt.
Will I be able to fit into the clothing in Japan if I lose weight? I really love the style, but I am afraid that I won't be able to buy anything…..because I'm kind of big for my age I guess.
I'm also blonde, so will I have a lot of attention because of that? I'm kind of shy around people I don't know, so I don't like it when people make comments to me.
What can I do to minimize my hip/thigh/butt size before leaving to Japan?

Uh, no. Just relax and stop thinking about your weight. Your weight will always go up and down so there's no changing that. When it comes to sizes in clothing, what really counts is your measurements and not your weight [all of the time]. Take you bust, waist and hip measurements and compare them to the clothes that you wanna buy.

I need size xxxl which is very hard to find on the high street. Also its for a 30 something guy so obviously i don't want grandad clothes.

I was a comfortable size 18. I am losing weight but am still heavy in the bust area. I want to know what favorite trendy and instyle plus size catalogues or stores you may shoppe in? I am not ready for Blair catalog yet Ladies!!!!!!

im not plus size but i have a couple friends who are and they always come to me for fashion advice so i hope i can help.

Lane Bryant has some really cute stuff as of late. like, theres a few things there im jelous im not big enough to fit in, so be sure to give them a shot.

Torrid is like, my favorite plus size store ever because they carry all sorts of funky modern stuff, cool rocker stuff, and some really chic stuff if you need to dress up for things.

not everything in the plus size sections at department stores is terrible either, so if your in Kohls or something and the first thing you see is some horrid plaid dress that looks like it was maid from a picnic blanket, dont give up hope. my mother is plus sized and she does most of her shopping at kohls and she is way way fashion forward for her age.

idk where they all have locations but i know there is a plus size type store called CJ banks that has some nice stuff too. they are really good if you need work type clothes.

Calling all plus sized women!

Definitely go to Ebay and look in Clothing and Accessories, Womens, Plus sizes. Probably two thirds of my wardrobe is purchased off Ebay. You can get brand new clothes at very reasonable prices. One downside is you can't try them on and are rarely returnable. If you don't mind buying used clothing – typically the quality you'd find in a consignment shop – you can really save money!
