Love Handle Exercises – Side Bends Aren’t The Answer

September 15, 2009  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: cheap plus size clothing

There’s an awful lot of stuff on the internet that will show you how to get fat off your love handles. The fact is most of it’s crap. Usually setup to try and sell you some expensive equipment or diet pills.

The usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category is the good old side bend. You hold a walking stick or broom above your head and bend from side to side. Simple! It would be nice if they actually worked.

The fact they won’t work is that targeting one particular area to lose weight from is nigh on impossible. You’ll always get the smart ass telling you they do work. They will work if you incorporate them with an all round system.

Doing side bends as part of an all round workout will definitely get you success. If your workout is also part of an all round system you could double your results. It’s a simple fact. Burn more energy than you consume to lose weight.

Consuming energy means eating it, usually food. To burn energy off you simply have to do something that is active. Exercise usually. Any form of activity will burn energy off. This is basically what exercise is.

This could be walking, swimming, running, weightlifting or even sex. The last one sounds good to me! Any exercise at all is better than no exercise at all. This is the reason people get fat. They eat calorie laden food and do little or no exercise.

You can exercise for your love handles all you want but if you ignore other areas you will simply get nowhere fast. If you are a naturally lazy person (like me) then swimming is probably your best all round exercise. If you have access to a pool, use it. The benefits are immense.

I hate jogging and see no benefit in killing your knees every day. You may need them in later life! You know the guy who made jogging famous collapsed and died while out jogging? Ironically discovered by two smokers walking past.

If you are serious about your shape then you need to get yourself an all round system to follow. Not some new fangled diet that won’t work but a system that will work long term and is gentle enough for you to keep at it. Making A Quilted Shower Curtain

September 15, 2009  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: cheap plus size clothing

Do you want to know more about how to make quilted fabric shower curtains? This is exactly where you will find what you are looking for. I have put together this post to help someone like you.

It is important to have all the necessary information before engaging in such an important and time consuming task. So if you can just take a few minutes to read right to the end and you will be glad you did.

The reason why you may have chosen to go with the self-making options might be out of your frustration to find exactly what you are looking for. For instance some of the visuals you may have in mind include purple fabric shower curtains or hookless shower curtains {blended|accentuated|beautifully combined} with an assortment of beautiful colors but the problem is that your local bathroom store doesn’t have them. This is where DIY comes to play.

Here are the recommendations promised earlier.

In order to make it lighter do not put any batting in it.

You need to make sure it is waterproof or else why would it be a shower curtain.

I suggest you make a quilt top and then use plastic for the lining. Buy some rivets and then saw the quilt at the top to the lining.

If you choose to sew the quilt on to the liner then it will most probably leak, this why I recommend sewing at the top. Unless of course you don’t mind the possible leakage.

If you choose to go with the quilted top idea you would need to use a backing to hide the seams.

You can also make buttonholes across the top of the hooks instead of sewing the quilt to the plastic liner. This will leave you with an option to wash the liner easily and separately. You can even throw it away when it wears out without losing the quilt.
