Where can I find Plus size Maternity Clothes?

November 04, 2008  //  Posted by: admin  //  Category: clothes for plus size women

Hello I'm 9 weeks into my pregnancy. I'm not showing yet but want to start looking around for some Maternity clothes. Does anyone know where I can find Maternity clothes for Plus size women? Online stores would be nice too.

Motherhood Maternity has some great plus sized jeans. I was reluctant to go into the store and look, as their online selection was mediocre at best, but i fund some really cute stuff at some surprisingly good prices. Good luck! Old Navy online as well is pretty good, they go to an XXL in maternity.

Hello. Sears was always best for me. They have maternity sizes up to 3x! They are very reasonable too! Congrats!

Nordstrom.com on the web carries up to size XL maternity which is basically like a 1x. their clothes are very very nice — and I've gotten lots of compliments on them — but they are expensive. No true "plus size" though and they don't have any maternity clothes in their store, only online.

Motherhood Maternity also carries plus-size maternity clothes, online and in the store, but you should definitely wait until your other clothes don't fit and try them on *in the store,* because you never know what size you'll need.

For instance, in some things I could wear a regular XL and in some things I needed a 1x and in some a 2x. So it really varies. Wait as long as possible to buy them so you get the size right. They have a very very strict return policy, and nothing is returnable after 10 days. They are very reasonably priced, and I liked the selection better in the store than online.

I also found that Lane Bryant has plus-size maternity clothes, but only on their web site.

When I went to Target, they didn't have any plus-size maternity clothes, just size XL and a few XXL. They didn't seem to be sized very well.

    good luck!

JCPenny.com, Old Navy, Ross, not sure if Lane Bryant.com would. Also Target and Mervyns. Good luck to you!

Lane Bryant has recently started carrying Maternity clothes and JC Penney has plus size maternity clothes. I order ALOT of clothes from them using their outlet store.(theres a link on their website for the outlet store) Motherhood has some plus size but if your like me and get really big, Motherhood clothes didn't quite stretch like i needed them too. Good Luck.

Motherhood Maternity (they have some actual stores, but online has wider selection http://www.motherhoodmaternity.com) and JC Penny online and lane bryant online also have cute plus size maternity clothes for good prices too. Depends what you want to spend, but those places were the cheapest I could find and still had a good selection. Others were duomaternity.com, picklesandicecream.com and I think it was mimimaternity.com who also carried plus size maternity. There isn't much in store stuff for plus size maternity. Good Luck!!
